Last year, James Blake surprised fans when he released "Wind Down," but it appears that more surprises are coming in the next few months as the musician announced his brand new album and would be going on tour around the world; check out the details below.

According to NME, the singer revealed the title of his next record "Playing Robots Into Heaven" and he just dropped the lead single off the project titled "Big Hammer."

The record will be available for streaming on major music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music on September 8, 2023. The project is under Polydor/ Republic.

Fans will take a trip to the past as Blake is expected to explore some of his electronic music roots which were apparent in his earlier albums like "Klavierwerke" in 2010 and "Overgrown" in 2013.

The latest single was also accompanied by a music video directed by Oscar Hudson. The visuals revolved around three robbers in a car in which they explore the town after stealing a lot of money from a bank.

James Blake Tour 2023

Per the outlet, the musician will be heading to several international cities across the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America.

His first show would be in Milan, Italy, on September 18, before traveling to the rest of the world until the final show of his leg in Los Angeles, California, on October 19.

For those who are interested in watching the musician perform live, a special pre-sale for the Alexandra Place show will be available to those who pre-order the album by July 3 on his official website.
