Hailey Bieber is not happy with online users and fans pitting her and Selena Gomez against each other as she recently shared her true feelings in a recent interview.

According to Billboard, Justin Bieber's wife was promoting her skincare line called Rhode with "The Circuit" where she opened up about the narrative that the people kept on pushing between her and the Rare Beauty founder.

"I don't think that this is about me - Hailey Bieber - and Selena Gomez. This is not about this pitting between two women and division between two women," she told host Emily Chang.

The model added that it is about the "vile, disgusting hatred" that came from completely manufactured narratives which she considers "dangerous."

What Happened Between Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber?

It all began when the "Only Murders in the Building" star shared online that she failed to do her eyebrow lamination procedure. Following this, fans alleged that Bieber and her good pal Kylie Jenner threw shade at the pop star by sharing a screenshot of their FaceTime call on Instagram stories.

After this, the model received death threats from fans, which led to Gomez calling out the public for their wrongdoings.

"No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I've always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop," Gomez wrote at the time.

Elsewhere in the interview, Bieber noted that the situation was an opportunity to bring people together because she doesn't agree with the idea of fans having to pick teams or sides.

Further explaining her thoughts, the model noted that she wanted to bring fans together and Gomez's move was important to see that they could do it and their supporters don't have to be divisive.

In addition, the Rhode founder was in awe upon realizing that the entire incident was because of a "guy" and she finds it "awful.

"I don't know why I keep having to say and we keep having to say that there is no issue, and there is no problem," she added.

Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber got married in 2018. Prior to their marriage, the "Stuck With U" hitmaker dated Selena Gomez on and off for eight years.
