Game confirmed one of 2015's hottest hip-hop albums on Thursday.

After October's Year Of The Wolf finishes making its sales rounds, fans will be treated to The Documentary 2 exactly 10 years after The Documentary destroyed the hip-hop scene (along with pop radio).

"#YearOfTheWolf is finally done," he wrote on Instagram. "Now on to 'The Documentary 2' dropping January 18th.... Exactly 10 years from 'The Documentary'..... Nobody is f---ing with 2 !!!!!!!!! So don't drop nowhere near me..... You've been warned!"

Earlier this month, Game told MTV that he wasn't sure about a January release, but he seems to be all in now.

This June, he was busy helping Nicki Minaj with her "Pills N Potions" video, in which the two portrayed a romantic relationship. This was before the firestorm created by "Anaconda," and Minaj seemed to prefer a more conservative approach:

"I went so far to the other side that there's only one place to go from there," Minaj said. "You can either continue doing costumes or you can just say, 'Hey guess what? This will shock them even more. Doing nothing will shock them even more'...The tracks on Pink Print are back to my hip-hop roots. And I don't think it's something that I'm necessarily trying to do. As soon as I started working on my new album, that's just the songs that I've been writing."

Of course, Game has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons, too.

In April, he was accused of hitting fiancé Tiffney Cambridge in a March incident that left her with a broken nose.

"I don't want to give fuel to these false accusations, but the truth will definitely come out," the rapper explained to TMZ. "I am always looking out for my children's safety and have never laid a hand on Tiffney."
