Dogstar has been making headlines over the past few months ever since they reunited for a performance at BottleRock Napa Valley music festival in May and it appears that the group will not slow down anytime soon as the band just announced a new album coming this year; check out all the details below.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Keanu Reeves, the band's bassist, is focusing on his music craft amid the actors' strike happening in Hollywood recently.

The "John Wick" star, along with his bandmates Robert Mailhouse and Bret Domrose, performed at their first headlining show in over two decades.

The group had fans screaming and vibing to their music at The Roxy in Los Angeles, California.

During the hour-long show, the band featured Archer Oh as their supporting act for the evening. After the opening act, the group came out and the audience went wild as Reeves shred his instrumental skills.

In addition to their on-stage comeback, the band also shared a surprising announcement with the attendees, confirming that they will have a new album out in October 2023.

To celebrate the new record, the band performed a never-before-heard single titled "Everything Turns Around."

"We're beyond excited about this, it's been a minute since we put anything out," Domrose said before playing the new track.

After the performance, the band left the stage and later returned for an encore which featured three songs. They also added three new tracks from the album to the set, but it was unclear what the titles were.

Dogstar's new album, "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees" will be available for streaming on major music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music starting on October 6, 2023.

Aside from a brand new album, the band also committed to their big comeback as they're finally going on tour again.

According to Pitchfork, the group will kick off their series of concerts at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, California, on August 10, 2023.

They will visit major cities like Brooklyn, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Atlanta, Boston, Sacramento, Chicago, and many more.

Dogstar's last scheduled show will be at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 12, 2023.
