Ariana Grande continues to receive hate for being a homewrecker after her rumored new boyfriend, Ethan Slater, filed for divorce from his wife.
Grande shocked fans when news about her and Dalton Gomez's split emerged, but she left everyone more surprised when sources said she is now dating her "Wicked" co-star, Ethan Slayer, who is a married man and a father of one.
Ariana Grande Condemned for Breaking a Family
Following the news about Grande and Slater's dating rumors, a news outlet reported that the 31-year-old actor filed for divorce from his wife, Lilly Jay, in New York. The reason behind the filing was not stated; Slater has not directly commented on the development, as well.
Slater married Jay, with whom he shares one child, in November 2018, six years after the high school sweethearts started dating.
After the update surfaced, internet users criticized Grande again and slammed her for ruining a family.

"Why are y'all surprised Ariana Grande is a homewrecker when Naya Rivera told us several years ago that Big Sean cheated on her with Ariana," one said. "Also girl has multiple songs about cheating (One Last Time, Break up with your girlfriend I'm bored, etc)."
"Damn I didn't see Ariana grande being a homewrecker on my 2023 bingo card," one wrote, while another added, "muting ariana grande bc it upset me that she's actually a cheater and a homewrecker."
Meanwhile, a source revealed (via Ok! Magazine) that Jay never expected their divorce to happen, especially since they just welcomed their first child together in August 2022. Slater left his wife "devastated" as she only knew about his new romance days before the news came out.
One source shared a different comment and said Slater and Jay already broke up before he started dating Grande. The "Thank U, Next" hitmaker's team supported this claim and clarified that things only happened after Slater split from his wife.
Ariana Grande Accused of Cheating Multiple Times
After reportedly "moving on too quickly" from Gomez, Grande's alleged cheating history also left fans enraged as the accusations branded the singer of cheating on her previous partners.
The allegations started in 2013 when she started dating Nathan Skyes after her relationship with Jai Brooks, and shocking information emerged as The Janoskians member revealed the singer's scheme in a TwitLonger post.
Grande was also accused of ruining other people's relationships as she dated Big Sean and Pete Davidson.
