M. Shadows Bio 

Matthew Charles Sanders (known professionally as M. Shadows) was born on July 31, 1981 in Huntington Beach, California to Kim and Gary Sanders. M. Shadows has a younger sister named Amy. As per The Famous People, M. Shadows began singing as a hobby when he was only a child. Additionally, as a kid, he began to pursue music by starting to play the piano. As the then-aspiring musician grew older, though, his interest in metal and rock music bloomed as he becomes a pro in playing the guitar. 

M. Shadows' decisiveness to pursue the metal music scene ensued after his own father gifted him Guns N' Roses" album, "Appetite for Destruction." 

M. Shadows and Avenged Sevenfold 

M. Shadows established the band, Avenged Sevenfold, together with his friends from middle school. Shadows has been the lead vocalist of the band since its formation. Like Metallica and Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold integrates classic metal sounds in the music they generate. Avenged Sevenfold was formed in 1999. 

The other members of Avenged Sevenfold include Zacky Vengeance,, the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, Synester Gates, lead guitarist and backing vocalist, Johnny Christ, bassist and backing vocalist, and Brooks Wackerman, drummer. 

M. Shadows Hits and Accomplishments with Avenged Sevenfold 

As of July 15, 2009, Avenged Sevenfold's sophomore album, "Waking the Fallen" was certified gold . Moving forward, as of August 2014, this album has sold more than 693,000 copies in the US alone. "Waking the Fallen" was released on August 26, 2003. 

Another major project from Avenged Sevenfold was their third album called, "City of Evil," which was distributed on June 7, 2005. The album has a classic heavy metal and hard rock beat in it. This music runs in contrary to that can be heard in the band's previous two albums. 

New drummer, Mike Portnoy, replaced James "The Rev" Sullivan in Avenged Sevenfold, upon the latter's death in 2009. Avenged Sevenfold released their fifth album called, "Nightmare," on July 27, 2010. The said album entered the Billboard 200 at the number one spot. 

Is M. Shadows a Pro-AI for Music? 

This news may surprise the general audiences, but, M. Shadows has announced that he would like to help fans make the latter's own versions of Avenged Sevenfold songs, with the aid of artificial intelligence, as per Metalinjection.net!
