Halle Bailey made headlines over the past few months for her performance as Ariel in the live-action film of Disney's "The Little Mermaid." Now that her major movie project is done, the musician is ready to enter the next chapter of her career: solo music.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, the singer, who started out in the music industry as a part of the musical duo Chloe x Halle with her sister, Chloe Bailey, teased fans about her new project.

The "Part of Your World" songstress took to her social media accounts as well as her official YouTube channel to share a 22-second teaser.

In the video, Bailey took a trip down memory lane as she compiled old videos of herself from singing on stage at a very young age to her teenage years, until her most-recent performances like the one in front of the Disney World castle.

In the background, soothing instrumental music could be heard which possibly could be a part of the actual song.

Toward the end of the clip, a quote reads, "Angels make a way somehow." She also added the title "Angel" and a date at the end which is August 4, 2023.

Halle Bailey New Music Coming Soon

This wasn't the first time Halle Bailey teased fans about her music as she also shared a vlog last year where she opened up about making music amid her "The Little Mermaid" project.

Sharing a video with her subscribers on her official YouTube channel, the musician said, "I am gonna be dropping music soon. I wanna show you guys me in the studio, what my creative process has been like, as well as just showing you all whatever else you wanna see."

Elsewhere in the clip, the musician told her supporters that her everyday life had been so much fun and she thought of documenting everything for her followers to see.

"Angel" would be the singer/actress' first musical project outside of the Chloe x Halle duo.

Chloe x Halle Happening Soon Despite Individual Careers?

Both sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey are busy with their individual careers, but this doesn't mean their Chloe x Halle project would retire.

In early reports, Chloe told Pop Sugar that she and her sister were headed to a recording studio to work on new music together.

She also noted that their next project would be an album and they would work on it amid their "amazing solo projects.
