Lady Gaga Pays Tribute to Tony Bennett

The latest announcement comes hours after Lady Gaga finally broke her silence after Tony Bennett's death and shared a heartwarming tribute on Instagram.

"I will miss my friend forever. I will miss singing with him, recording with him, talking with him, being on stage together," she wrote.

She noted that aside from learning things about music, the jazz legend also taught him how to keep her spirits high.

Despite the four-decade age gap between the two pals, Gaga said Bennett was her friend.

"Our age difference didn't matter— in fact, it gave us each something neither of us had with most people," she wrote.

The musician concluded her post by telling the public that don't "discount your elders" and don't leave them behind when things started changing.

Tony Bennett passed away at the age of 96 on July 21, 2023, in the same city where he grew up in, New York.
