Kylie Minogue is back in the spotlight like the true queen she is. The pop icon is not stopping anytime soon, from releasing a new album to embarking on her own Las Vegas Residency, to possibly having a biopic.
When asked who she would want to play her in a possible biopic in the future, the "Padam Padam" hitmaker definitely has one actress in mind already.
Kylie Minogue New Album 'Tension'
Thanks to the success of her Summer anthem song "Padam Padam," Kylie Minogue is excited to release her upcoming album, "Tension" on Sep. 22, 2023.
According to Minogue's label executive and close friend Jamie Nelson, there are "more follow-up hits" on the upcoming album, "Tension."
A song titled "Vegas High" will be released, the singer described the track to be the "last piece of the puzzle" of the upcoming project.
"That was a studio day where I spoke with my A&R and and he'd said, 'Is there any way we can add a song that talks about Vegas?' I'd tried it already. We hadn't nailed it," she told the press, as quoted by Variety. "It's just tricky to get the balance right about all the elements of Vegas, but we did it in a day. We were talking about going to Vegas, the possibilities. It's a shimmering thing in the distance. If you're flying in, or if you're driving, the roads get drier, and the mood changes, and as the saying says, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. It's just its own little kind of Wonderland."

Kylie Minogue Las Vegas Residency
Speaking of Las Vegas, Kylie Minogue is also embarking on her Las Vegas Residency from November 2023 to January 2024.
Although no dates are released yet, Minogue revealed that the "Voltaire" Las Vegas Residency will start selling tickets on Aug. 9, 2023, when the dates will be revealed.
Kylie Minogue Biopic
Per Billboard, with the huge plans that Kylie Minogue had in store in the coming months, a biopic or musical film might be on the horizon too.
Asked who she would want to play her in a possible Kylie Minogue biopic, she already had one person in mind. (via E! Online)
"Margot Robbie in my dreams, She has the Australian accent down for sure," she said.
Notably, Robbie and Minogue are of the same ancestry as they are both Australian, with the former coming from Queensland, and the latter from Melbourne.
