Are the allegations about Lizzo real?

Arianna Davis, the woman taking the award-winning singer-songwriter to court, was captured in a video from April 2023 where she is singing praises for Lizzo.

Despite now claiming that she has been done wrong by her, initially, Arianna appeared to be a fan of Lizzo's work.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the accuser said, "It's been so amazing and such a beautiful journey. I look up to her so much. I just want to follow in her footsteps, and I just want to share that with Queen Lizzo herself."

Marty Singer, Lizzo's legal representative, has stated to TMZ that "These do not seem to be remarks from an individual who has gone through mistreatment or inequality by someone they referred to as 'THE QUEEN'".

It's vital to note that Arianna spoke out after Lizzo finished her European tour and the first season of the series "Watch Out for the Big Grrrls."

All of the assertions Arianna made concerning these events happened before she created a video in which she is seen in an interview for season two, presenting herself as a singer.

Appearing on "TMZ Live" Tuesday, plaintiffs Arianna and Crystal Williams revealed that they had been terminated from their positions following claims by Lizzo's team that their dancing skills were inadequate.

Lizzo Breaks Silence On Shocking Claims

For the first time since three of her former backup dancers took legal action against Lizzo for alleged sexual, religious, and racial harassment, discrimination, and creating a hostile work environment, the Grammy-winning artist has addressed the situation.

In her statement, the "Juice" singer expressed how difficult and demoralizing this experience has been for her over the past few days.

Lizzo also called them "gut-wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing."

Amidst reports of mistreatment and allegations that the "About Damn Time" hitmaker had been weight-shaming her dancers, she spoke out on Thursday to address the claims in a statement released over Instagram.

"My work ethic, morals, and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Usually, I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed."

Back in February, while on tour, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez had an experience that sparked allegations against Lizzo and Big Grrrl Big Touring. They claimed to have been taken to Amsterdam's Red Light District by Lizzo and dance team captain Shirlene Quigley, who they felt created a "sexually charged and uncomfortable" work environment.
