Dua Lipa has to keep the ball rolling with her next album, especially after the massive success her debut and sophomore albums have received throughout the years.

The pressure is on, and the "Levitating" singer is not backing down, in fact, she just doubled down by researching and getting more inspiration from other artists and music.

Lipa admitted that her next album is slated for a 2024 release and that she has been working alongside Kevin Parker of Tame Impala.

It seems like the "Dance the Night Away" singer wants to keep the mystery surrounding the album going because she changed her profile status to "all but confirms by denying."

"I think it's a marketing tool: How confessional can you be?" Lipa said. "I also don't put so much of my life out there for people to dig into the music in this weird, analytical way."

Dua Lipa Inspired by The Bee Gees?

According to reports, Lipa will be dabbling with the "1970s-era psychedelia" sound, which is probably why she enlisted an Australian psych-rock artist to work with her this time around.

She also revealed that she had recently watched "How You Can Mend a Broken Heart," the 2020 documentary on the group that reigned in the 70s, Bee Gees.

"[I was] "just bawling my eyes out," she said about the documentary, noting how moving and powerful music can be. "[...] those are the songs I get attached to - that's the kind of feeling I want to convey."

Dua Lipa Finds Her Sound

This new shift in Lipa's sound is propelled by her desire to experiment with different genres and express the different stages of her personal life, as well as her career.

"I've definitely grown up. Overall, whether it's sonically or in terms of the themes, I've matured," Lipa told Vogue last year. "It's like I'm coming into my power and not afraid to talk about things. It's about understanding what I want."

Lipa has released a wide array of music since her debut album, "Dua Lipa." It can also be witnessed in the different artists she has collaborated with throughout the years, like Missy Elliott, Madonna, Elton John, Megan Thee Stallion, Calvin Harris, and more.

Fans can definitely expect to see more artists, from different genres and decades, coming together for Lipa's upcoming album.
