Tory Lanez was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison after being proven to have assaulted Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. However, the journey leading to his conviction and sentence was a struggle, especially for Megan Thee Stallion, as she was smeared by hate campaigns on social media.

Among those who have spoken against her was internet personality DJ Akademiks, a close friend of Tory Lanez.

DJ Akademiks Leaked Court Documents?

In a live stream that Legal Affairs Journalist Meghann Cuniff posted on YouTube, she responded to DJ Akademiks's conspiracy theory that Roc Nation rigged the trial. In February 2022, Ak publicized that there was no DNA of Tory Lanez found on the firearm that Megan Thee Stallion was shot.

"It was revealed in court [a] few moments ago that Tory Lanez DNA WAS NOT found on the weapon in the Meg Thee Stallion case," he tweeted.

Megan retaliated on Instagram, blasting Akademiks for releasing information not yet said on court. However, it was, later on, revealed that the DNA was not "not found" on the firearm, but it was inconclusive but not definitive. Akademiks has since deleted the tweet, but he later on blamed Roc Nation for receiving the wrong information.

On Cuniff's live stream, she debunked this: "The judge found that Lanez leaked it to Akademiks. Lanez's own lawyer said that. They described that's how it happened in the documents."

AllHipHop suggested that this could spark legal trouble for the very outspoken media personality for alleged defamatory language. Likewise, Tory Lanez's camp, especially his father, has publicly called out Roc Nation management for allegedly meddling into the trial.

"I got some names I wanna call out... [Attorney] Alex Spiro, [Roc Nation CEO] Desiree Perez, and the whole wicked system of Roc Nation, including you, Jay-Z," Sonstar Peterson said.
