Travis Scott isn't done facing the consequences of the aftermath of what happened in 2021's Astroworld Festival wherein hundreds of fans were injured and a few concertgoers passed away.

More recently, there have been reports that a lot of people had been injured during his latest concert at Circus Maximus in Rome, Italy; could this be another concert tragedy? What happened?

According to Billboard, Travis Scott's major on-stage comeback went viral on social media over the past few days for mainly what happened during his show including a surprise set from Kanye West himself.

However, a report published by CNN revealed that there were over 60 people who got injured and required medical attention after someone reportedly sprayed pepper spray into some concertgoers.

As of this writing, it's still unclear if the person who sprayed the crowd was a part of the event staff or another fan.

In addition to the reported injuries mentioned above, there was also one 14-year-old fan who climbed a false wall in hopes to see the musician perform for free.

Unfortunately, the young fan fell 13 feet to the ground which required him some medical attention.

Travis Scott has yet to react to the matter.

Circus Maximus Executive Doesn't Want Concerts to Take Place at the Historical Site

Aside from the problems mentioned above, the director of the Colosseum Archaeological Park, Alfonsina Russo, issued a statement that shows at the adjacent Circus venue should be halted as it is a historical site that needs to be preserved.

"The Circus Maximus is a monument. It is not a stadium, not a concert hall," she said.

She added that major musical performances from known artists are putting the historical site at risk as well as other venues close to it like Palatine Hill.

Circus Maximus Executive Only Allows Ballet, Opera Performances

"Rock concerts should be held in stadiums so as not to endanger public safety," she added.

Travis Scott was not the first artist to perform at Circus Maximus as Bruce Springsteen, Guns N' Roses, and Imagine Dragons have already played shows at the iconic venue.

Russo further noted that the only music or entertainment events allowed at the Maximus Circus are opera and ballet performances.

Per the report mentioned above, "hundreds" of calls were confirmed to be made from concerned citizens around the venue as they reported earthquakes.

However, it was only due to Travis Scott's concert in the area as he had over 70,000 attendees that were jumping up and down through the night.
