Katharine McPhee and David Foster have canceled the remaining dates of their Asia tour after experiencing a devastating family tragedy.
The couple made the decision for the mother-of-one to return home to America as soon as possible.
On Friday, a heartfelt statement was posted to her Instagram by a 39-year-old singer who had been on her Asian tour with her 73-year-old Grammy Award-winning partner.
Sadly, she had some devastating news to deliver.

The singer explained to her fans that, unfortunately, the final two concerts of the tour would not be attended by her due to an unexpected and urgent need for her to return home to her family. These shows were set in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Katharine said in an Instagram post, "Dearest Jakarta fans, it's with a heavy heart I announce I have to miss our final two shows of our Asia run. David and I have had a horrible tragedy in our family, and at least one of us needs to get back home to our family."

After sharing this news on social media, many comforting messages from celebrity acquaintances poured into her comments section. No further details about what occurred have been revealed.
It was June 28, a special day for the family of four - when Katharine and her husband, a dad of seven, celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary.
David popped the question to his bride-to-be in June 2018, and soon after that, in front of roughly 150 family and friends, they became husband and wife at London's St Yeghiche Armenian Church.
