Chris Brown is scheduled to be in court Tuesday for another attempt at reaching a plea deal in his Washington, D.C. assault case.

According to the Washington Post, Brown's previous hearing scheduled for Friday was cancelled.

Last October, Brown allegedly punched Parker Adams, a photograph-seeking fan, in the face outside the W Hotel in downtown Washington.

Bill Miller, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office, declined to comment on whether a plea deal exists. However, Miller did confirm the "New Flame" singer is scheduled to appear in court.

It has been reported that Brown has rejected two previous plea deal offers.

In January, prosecutors also offered Brown a deal, which he rejected and agreed instead to go to trial. More recently, at a June hearing he rejected a plea offer following two days of heavy negotiations between his attorneys and prosecutors.

Brown's attorney, Mark J. Geragos, told the judge Brown rejected the plea deal because he did not agree with the details of the assault as outlined by the prosecutors.

As reported by HipHopDX, the 25-year-old singer is facing a misdemeanor assault charge. Brown was initially facing a felony assault charge, but it was reduced to a misdemeanor from a felony.

Brown pled not guilty to the charge and is required to stay 100 yards away from the alleged victim in the case.

Brown denies punching the alleged victim saying he was on the tour bus when the alleged assault took place and that his bodyguard took care of the situation.

His friend and bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, 35, was found guilty following a two-day trial in April in which Adams and two other witnesses testified that both Brown and Hollosy struck him.
