The authorities reportedly found new evidence that Angus Cloud died of an accidental overdose, supporting the initial assumptions about his cause of death.

Cloud, whose real name was Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, died on July 31 aged 25 after he was found unresponsive in his family's Oakland, Calif., house. Rumors bombarded the heartbreaking event, with several claims suggesting he probably died of an accidental overdose.

While the autopsy remains underway, law enforcement sources recently revealed that they found another proof that could determine his cause of death.

Did Angus Cloud Die of a Drug Overdose?

A news outlet received an update from multiple law enforcement sources saying that Cloud did not leave a suicide note; thus, it ruled out the possibility that he died by suicide.

The insiders said his death was a result of an accidental overdose based on the current evidence. Although this has yet to be proven, the update silenced the rumors that he might have taken his own life like what his family hinted at in their initial statement.

For what it's worth, Cloud's bereaved loved ones said he struggled after losing his father to cancer months prior to the "Euphoria" star's demise.

"Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence," his family said.

Angus Cloud Did Not Die by Suicide

On the other hand, his mother also strongly debunked the suicide claims in a social media post. Lisa Cloud shared on Facebook that while her son was in deep grief after his father's death, he still had a joyful last day.

She revealed that Cloud's death was indeed unexpected as he still spent time placing items around the house and reorganizing his room since he wanted to stay in the family house for a longer time. The matriarch also recalled him asking her about helping his sisters at college and assisting her emotionally and financially.

"When we hugged goodnight we said how much we loved each other and he said he would see me in the morning," she continued. "I don't know if or what he may have put in his body after that. I only know that he put his head on the desk where he was working on art projects, fell asleep and didn't wake up."
