Fans can't wait to hear the re-recorded version of the classic Taylor Swift album titled "1989" and there has been an alternative album art making rounds online; check it out below.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Pop Crave shared two photos of the musician's album art of her upcoming era.

The first photo was the original one, which the singer unveiled during the last US leg show of her "The Eras Tour" at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, earlier this month.

The album art features the singer candidly smiling as birds surround her.

On the other hand, the newly-unveiled album cover features the singer lying down on the beach with her legs raised up as ocean waves could be seen in the background.

In the photo, Swift donned a striped sweater and a pair of white shorts.

After this, fans immediately expressed their excitement about the album's release, with one writing, "OMG SHES COMING TO SHIFT POP CULTURE."

"I really love the new 1989 cover. She looks happy," another one wrote.

After Taylor Swift revealed to the world that the next re-recording of her album would be "1989", fans immediately shared their theories about the meaning behind the album cover.

Pop Buzz reported that the singer's expression in the first cover bears a very significant meaning to what she feels in the inside, and everything points to a diary entry from 2014.

In the message, Swift noted that she had a dream wherein the photo she had chosen for the original album artwork wasn't "good enough" or even intriguing or "artful."

"I looked at it and felt nothing. The team pulled up this new scanned file of the Polaroids we had taken during the shoot," she wrote.

The original version's album cover ended up being the 13th photo from the Polaroid photoshoot wherein she her eyes were cut off from the image and it only showed her lips and a seagull sweater.

During the last day of her "The Eras Tour" US leg, Taylor Swift had a massive surprise for her fans as she finally revealed that the next re-recorded album that she would release would be "1989."

At the time, she wore a blue gown at one of the segments of the show, which she never did in the past, and many have speculated that she would be announcing it that evening.

Later on, she finally revealed the surprise and told fans that "1989 (Taylor's Version)" would be released on October 27, 2023.
