"1989" fans, this one's for you!

Taylor Swift definitely knows how to end a tour leg! On the last day of her North America leg of "The Eras" tour at the SoFi Stadium, Swift had heavily dropped some hints that something big might be coming up.

Not only was the last tour date come on August 9, which in numerical form is 08-09, the last two digits of her birthday, but Swift had also worn blue outfits in the eras where a blue gown wasn't the norm in the past few months.

During her "surprise song" performance, she debuted a blue dress which sent the whole SoFi Stadium roaring in anticipation.

True enough, she delivered!

Taylor Swift Announced '1989 (Taylor's Version)

In a sweet message that she said at the time, she had this to say: "The last time that I was so pleasantly surprised by some stuff that you guys did was when I announced that I was going to be re-recording. That was something that I expected to be just a me thing, just a personal thing. Since I was a teenager, I wanted to own my music. The way to do it was to re-record my albums, and the way that you have embraced ... that you have celebrated, that you really decided that it was your fight too, and that you were 100 percent behind me ... I will never stop thanking you for that."

As she continued to note that fans have been seeing the blue outfits of that night's show, she then show everyone what was on the screen - the cover art and the release date for "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

'1989 (Taylor's Version)' Album Cover Art

Taylor Swift also debuted the first cover art when she was smiling. Compared to the original cover art, the new one featured the same seagulls that she wore on her shirt from the original.

A blue sky was featured and a smiling Swift can be seen. Noticeably, it was also the first album where the album title is written on the art.

'1989 (Taylor's Version) Vault Tracks

"1989 (Taylor's Version)" would be Swift's fourth re-recorded album, overall. Since she released "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," she also released several unreleased songs, commonly referred to as "vault tracks."

In her Instagram post, Swift revealed that she had 5 vault tracks prepared for the upcoming album.
