The 2023 MTV Video Music Award performers are one of the highly awaited announcements in the music industry lately. Performances at the MTV VMAs are usually held in high regard because of how it has hosted the most iconic television and music moments in history.

Now, the first round of the 2023 MTV Video Music Award performers has been announced.

According to MTV, the first round of the 2023 MTV VMA performers are the following artists. (via Deadline)

Stray Kids

Korean Super Group Stray Kids got their second VMA nomination this year with "S-Class." The group will be performing the said piece in their first-ever US broadcast premiere in the United States.

They were nominated in the same category last year with "Maniac," but they lost to Lisa for "Lalisa." The group recently made career strides with their chart-topping albums at the Billboard 200 chart.

Karol G

Latin superstar Karol G, who recently topped the Latin Albums chart with her "Manana Sera Bonito (Bichota Season)" is also tapped to perform at the MTV VMAs. She became the first Latin woman to top the album with an All-Spanish Language album, following Bad Bunny as the first male to do so. Karol G, who is currently on her arena tour in the United States, will stop by the VMAs for a performance. She is nominated thrice this year - Best Latin, Artist of the Year, and Best Collaboration for "TQG" with Shakira.

Måneskin

According to Billboard, the Italian rock band will be debuting their new song "Honey (Are You Coming?)" on the MTV VMAs stage. Nominated for Best Rock this year for "The Loneliest," they became the first Italian act to be nominated for two consecutive years running in a main show category. Last year, they performed "Supermodel" and won Best Alternative for "I Wanna Be Your Slave."

Demi Lovato

Fresh from her split with Scooter Braun, Demi Lovato, is making her big splashing return to the VMAs after six years. She is nominated this year for Best Pop and Video For Good for "Swine." The 14-time nominee has graced the stage before with the performances of "Give Your Heart A Break," "Cool for The Summer," and "Sorry Not Sorry."

The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Sep. 12, 2023, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
