Renee Rapp Saved Drew Barrymore From Stalker Who Wanted To Climb Onstage

Very recently, actress Drew Barrymore has to face a scary situation. Thankfully, singer-actress Renee Rapp was there.

In a live conversation with Renee Rapp at the 92nd Street Y in New York, Drew Barrymore was engrossed talking to the "Snow Angel" singer when someone from the audience caught her attention. (via The Independent)

"Drew Barrymore!" a man shouted, introducing himself, prompting the singer to say: "Oh my god. Yes, Hi!"

In the now-viral video, Renee Rapp, who was across Barrymore, was alarmed with the scenario as the man continues to come forward.

He identified himself as "Chad Michael Busto" before shouting "You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while you're in New York."

In response to the man charging forward the stage, Rapp's fight-or-flight instincts took over, which prompted her to bolt from her seat and confidently escorted Barrymore off the stage as security details intercepted the man who was already near them.

Barrymore was seen relieved with Rapp, who placed her hands on Rapp's waits during the said altercation. Moments later after the man was escorted off the venue, Barrymore gushed about Rapp's protectiveness.

Rapp detailed what happened backstage shortly after the ruckus: "They're like, 'Do you need anything, do you need us to stay? And [Barrymore] was like oh no, I got it, I'm good!'" Barrymore reciprocated the love, telling Rapp that: "Well, I got a new definition of your sexiness, it's that level of protectiveness. That went full bodyguard! You are my Kevin Costner!"

Drew Barrymore Stalker The Same With Amber Heard?

According to a Radar Online source, the same Chad Michael Busto who approached Drew Barrymore was apparently the same stalker who randomly shouted at a Walmart that she proposed to Amber Heard.

"Good evening everybody at Walmart. If I can have your attention please, it's my personal belief that we are probably in the apocalypse: the end times," the man shouted at the time. "My name is Chad Michael Busto and we are recording this. So, Amber Heard ... She's a famous actress. I have proposed to her for marriage."

Meanwhile, fans praised Rapp for her instincts on social media.

"I love how are Reneé was on-point & super vigilant," a user said.

"the way renee fastly reacted, love that!" another gushed.

"Good thing Renee was on go and got into flight mode and ushered Drew out for the situation. Drew kinda froze :(" someone posted.
