Over the past few hours, there have been rumors that Britney Spears is willing to reconcile with her father, Jamie Spears, as he was reportedly suffering from a medical condition.
More recently, recent reports clarify that it wasn't true and it appears that the father and daughter duo will not see each other soon.
According to an insider who spoke with Page Six, the reunion between the two is "just not true."
The source further explained that although the pop superstar is currently on a healing journey, a "reconciliation with Jamie is not in the cards."
What Happened to Jamie Spears?
The recent news comes after a news outlet reported that Britney wanted to visit her father amid his medical condition.
In addition, the pop star wanted to repair their once-broken relationship because of his health. Jamie has been in and out of the hospital for months now and the singer doesn't want to wait too long to talk to him again.
Jamie, who was a big part of Britney's conservatorship for 13 years, is reportedly suffering from an infection due to a knee replacement surgery that happened 16 years ago.

His condition led him to be hospitalized several times over the past few months. Since then, he has lost over 25 pounds.
The father of the Princess of Pop will reportedly undergo an operation later this week.
As of this writing, Britney Spears has yet to publicly address the matter.

The recent news comes after Britney Spears and Sam Asghari's divorce made rounds online.
The actor reportedly filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences." He took to social media to confirm that he and the singer decided to separate.
Britney and Sam started dating in 2016 and later got married in 2022. Their marriage only lasted for 14 months.
The recent development was the custody of their dogs as the singer initially didn't want to give up all of their five pets to the fitness enthusiast.
However, they ultimately reached a decision that the musician will get to keep four of their dogs named Sawyer, an Australian Shepherd, Hannah a Yorkie, and two more others.
On the other hand, Sam will be keeping their Doberman named Porsha as he was the one who bought the dog as protection to his then-partner in 2021.
