Miley Cyrus saddened her fans after recently tripling down that she won't be going on tour because of the exhaustion that it brings to her. AI Singer Grimes backed her up with this notion.

Miley Cyrus Tour Won't Happen Anytime Soon

Speaking to her Hulu special "Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions)," Miley Cyrus explained why a Miley Cyrus Tour won't be possible for the foreseeable future.

"Having every day the relationship between you and other humans being subject and observer isn't healthy for me because it erases my humanity and my connection," she elaborated. "And without my humanity and my connection, I can't be a songwriter, which is my priority."

Cyrus also said that her "unhealthy relationship" with touring was rooted in her time as a cheerleader when she was younger.

"Like the show or the competition may only be for a day, but that's what most people don't understand about touring. The show may only be for 90 minutes, but that's your life," she explained.

More so, people on social media pointed out that at 15 years old, Cyrus had to go on the "Best Of Both Worlds" tour in North America for a 71-date trek in support of the "Hannah Montana" series. This was around 2007 and 2008 during the height of the Disney Channel original show.

Even before, Cyrus has hinted and expressed her dislike for touring.

Sharing to British Vogue, she described how "not natural" and "isolating" touring is.

"Not only 'can't', because 'can't' is your capability, but my desire. Do I want to live my life for anyone else's pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?" she reflected at the time.

Grimes Backed Up Miley Cyrus After Expressing Her Tour Plans

On Twitter/X, Artificial Intelligence singer Grimes aired the same thoughts and backed Miley Cyrus up on her stance on touring.

"If u Exist entirely for the pleasure of others there is nothing left of you. It's so hard to express this without feeling ungrateful," she said, adding: "It's so hard to express this feeling without feeling ungrateful but if you are an introvert I have no idea how to ever approach tour again, but I feel so guilty about it."

In the past, Grimes had toured Canada, the United States, Asia, and Oceania, in her own headlining tours. She also toured in support of Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, and even the Swedish House Mafia.
