Joe Jonas abruptly ended his marriage with Sophie Turner in August following the couple's argument.

It was an unexpected move when, shortly after they had been searching for a place to call their "permanent home" in England.

Radar Online has uncovered the startling details of the legal battle between Joe and Sophie, which centers around where their two children should reside.

The lawsuit filed by the "Game of Thrones" actress insists that the kids return to England, while the singer's divorce filing requests joint custody.

Rumors concerning Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have recently been circulating, with those close to the former couple claiming he pressured the actress into attending events even though she felt uncomfortable leaving their baby at home.

Despite this, Sophie has not yet commented on the divorce, instead focusing her time and energy on a filming project in England, which has kept her preoccupied for weeks.

The details of the tumultuous dispute between the former couple have now been made public through her new lawsuit. The two first connected when Sophie was 20, while Joe already had 27 years under his belt.

Sophie's lawsuit said, "From the beginning of the parties' relationship, they have spent regular time in England, including with their friends and family. Until April 2023, the parties moved frequently due to the nature and requirements of their careers. In April 2023, the parties made England their permanent home."

In the legal document filed, Sophie revealed that their two beloved daughters are citizens of both countries.

On their 2022 Christmas holiday spent in England, the couple realized it was the perfect place to find their "forever home" and enroll their kids in school there.

In December 2022, Sophie and Joe set off on their quest to find a house that would be their home forever.

This search lasted until July of 2023, as they looked for an estate in England with easy access to Warwickshire and London.

After touring multiple locations, the couple visited a gorgeous country estate in Henley on the Thames and decided that this was where their family should settle permanently. The lawsuit further stated that both parties had agreed to purchase this new home for all eternity.

In April 2023, Sophie and her family decided to make a significant move across the seas. They relocated to England so that their children could enroll in school there. By May, she was already working hard on a television show within UK borders.

In July 2023, Joe embarked on his scheduled journey with the Jonas Brothers.

According to Sophie, it had been prearranged for Jonas to bring the children along in the care of a nanny.

As part of the agreement, it was determined that Joe Jonas would accompany his children and their nanny on a month-long US tour starting in August 2023. Sophie Turner was set to meet them during that same trip in September.

This action was taken as a temporary measure while both parties worked out the arrangement they believed would be best for the children.

The lawsuit stated: "With some hesitation, the parties planned and agreed that it would be best for the children to travel with the Father and the family's nanny to the United States for August, with the Mother traveling to meet them in September."

Contrary to her plans, Joe and Sophie never completed the tour. Instead, their marriage fell apart suddenly, according to what was stated by her.

The document reads, "The parties had an argument on August 15, 2023. On or about September 1, 2023, the Father filed a divorce case against the Mother in Florida. On or about September 5, 2023, the Mother found out through the media that the Father had filed for divorce."

Just a few days ago, Sophie met with Joe Jonas to discuss their division. She asserted that he denied returning the kids' passports and refused to have them travel to England.
