If you're dreaming of a Slash-Axl Rose reunion, looks like you'll be dreaming for a while. Guitar World reports that the famed Guns N' Roses guitarist has ruled out working with the band's frontman in the future.

Telling the publication, "People have been speculating about it for years, but I really have a hard time picturing," the guitarist admits that there just hasn't been too much communication between he and Rose.

He added, "I have a hard time picturing it, because I'm always focused on the next show. I'm one of those people who lives in the moment. I don't look too far into the future and I don't dwell too much on the past."

So, while former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan joined today's version of the band back in April, it seems unlikely that the original guitarist will do the same.

But just because he's not getting back with his once-upon-a-time friend doesn't mean he's slouching around. Far from it! Slash is currently touring alongside Aerosmith on their Let Rock Rule tour and promoting his forthcoming album World On Fire, which is scheduled for release on Sept. 15 of this year.

Aside from his time on the stage, the guitarist is gearing up for the premiere of Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights, for which he provided the score for the attraction Clowns 3DMusic Times reported on that last month. The attraction opens on Sept. 19.
