Are you ready for the collab of the years? The Rolling Stones just unveiled the official release date for their collaborative song with Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder titled "Sweet Sounds of Heaven."

The legendary band took to their official Instagram account to share a snippet of the track along with an animation of a hand sticking out of the water to feel the rain.

In the short clip, Gaga's heavenly vocals could be heard matching with Wonder's amazing piano rendition as the Rolling Stones bandmates chat in the background, seemingly directing the two.

Mark your calendars and turn on your notifications as the song will be available for streaming on major music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and more starting this September 28, 2023, BST.

The Rolling Stones 'Sweet Sounds of Heaven' Featuring Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder

The track was unveiled during a press event in East London hosted by Jimmy Fallon. At the time, it was announced that the Rolling Stones will release new material for the first time in over 18 years.

Keith Richards teased fans about the upcoming collaborative track with Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder, saying, "You've never been to church in your life."

The reason why he described it that way was because the song will revolve around the genre of gospel.

This was not the first time Gaga teamed up with the band as she already performed with them back in 2012 during the legendary group's "50 and Counting" tour at the Prudential Center in Newark to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

The Rolling Stones 'Hackney Diamonds' Release Date

Aside from the two iconic musicians mentioned above, the Rolling Stones will also collaborate with other legendary artists like Elton John, and Paul McCartney.

The Beatles member is said to have contributed bass on the song "Bite My Head Off." On the other hand, Elton John played the piano on the track "Live by the Sword."

All tracks were produced by Andrew Watt, a famed record producer who already worked with known artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, and more.

The Rolling Stones' new album "Hackney Diamonds" will be released online and in stores starting on October 20, 2023.
