Kate Bush Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Fans noted that Kate Bush was the artist who was the most overdue for a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

"She's been nominated many times, so the nominating committee was very happy that the general ballot voted Kate in this year," Sykes said in a statement.

Bush's popularity grew in 2022 after her song "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" skyrocketed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts almost four decades after it was released. It had a surge in streaming and appreciation from younger generations because it was used on the hit Netflix show "Stranger Things" Season 4.
