A video of the actual arrest of Duane Keith "Keefe D" Davis has been released amid the ongoing trial of Tupac Shakur's 1996 murder case.

Keefe D appeared before the court for the first time on Wednesday, October 4, following his arrest concerning the killing of Shakur. The authorities arrested him in Las Vegas following a search of his Henderson, Nev., home in July.

Video of Duane Keith "Keefe D" Davis' Arrest Surfaced

A news outlet obtained a police body cam footage from Keefe D's arrest, showing the murder suspect going out for his morning walk and getting arrested suddenly.

Throughout the arrest, he remained compliant and did not resist when the police handcuffed him. The video also captured him complaining that he was thirsty at that time.

After the authorities led him to the car, he told them he was a "pro" as he climbed into the front passenger seat.

He marked his first appearance on the court, which lasted for less than 60 seconds, as he told Judge Tierra Jones that he had retained an attorney to represent him. His lawyer asked the court to resume the trial in two weeks.

Jones agreed and ordered Keefe D to appear again on October 19 at 9 a.m. local time.

David was one of the four people - Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, Deandrae "Dre" Smith and Terrence "T-Brown" Brown - in the white Cadillac that pulled up next to Suge Knight's black BMW and opened fire.

Reports said it was Anderson - Keefe D's nephew - who fired the shots that killed Shakur days after the shooting. However, witnesses told the jury that it was Dre who fired the gun. Both accused had already died.

Tupac Shakur's Family Questioned the Recent Arrest

After Keefe D's arrest, Shakur's family issued a statement asking why it took the authorities 27 years to arrest someone related to the case.

"I was taken aback when the Las Vegas police department started reaching out to the family. The timing is curious," Shakur's stepbrother Mopreme said. "I do appreciate that it's some form of accountability for the family, but it's not over."

As of this writing, Keefe D is being held without bail.
