When Christina Aguilera and Latto collaborated on a song for the Just Eat meal delivery app, her fans were divided. Some said the collab showcased the two's talents, but some also said this is not something Aguilera should have agreed to - as it is very below her league.

The two musicians got together for an extravagant event with an Italian theme, hosted by Just Eat, a restaurant chain with locations around Europe. The two looked stunning in a series of extravagantly detailed outfits, exposing their bodies in opulent ball gowns and sensual metallic underwear.

Latto rapped about Just Eat for the most part of their song, with Christina contributing background vocals and letting loose with her signature melismas.

As fans jumped into the comments, some praised the advertisement and others complained that Christina was 'SO under' the 'lamest song'. With their latest advertisement, Just Eat went all out.

Christina and Latto were seen in an opulent hallway that was created to appear as though it was built of marble. The two singers descended two curved staircases and swanned across a set of checkerboard tiles against some classically styled sculpture. Several paintings of Christina and Latto adorned the walls, aiming to be a playful parody of Renaissance masterpieces.

Latto, decked out in a pale blue sequin gown, exuded a bombshell confidence, while Christina was all sparkles and rose gold ball gown. The commercial even showed people eating Just Eat food deliveries while floating in a gondola down a man-made canal.

One fan exclaimed, "The vocals you gave were simply marvelous!!!!!" in the comments. "You must work together on an entire song." Another admirer yelled, "Yaaaaaaaaas!" Another blared, "IN LOVE WITH THIS," and a third expressed regret, saying, "I'm sad this is just a promo." "How flawless is it?" As one fan wrote, "GRATS TO THE MARKETING TEAM!" another fan burst out in excitement.

A team may accomplish that with a BUDGET. Though not everyone was as complimentary, one person did qualify his compliments, saying, "Vocals amazing, but I wish the same effort was put into her own art."

One admirer bemoaned, "Girl, we wanted a new song not a new ad campaign," while another said that Katy Perry's Just Eat advertisement from the previous year "was better than this and definitely was catchier."

"Christina ate though," a complement was added by one commentator who said, "Shoulda got @nickiminaj instead of that other girl." No offense meant.

Some, like the person who wrote, "This should be SO beneath you," were more overtly disrespectful of the advertisement. I'm not sure what to believe. "This song is the lamest," said a another commenter. Is this an Uber Eats advertisement, really? I hope you were paid in cash rather than food.

This is Latto's second project with an established pop artist. She collaborated with Grammy Award-winning singer Mariah Carey in 2022 on the remix of her popular song "Big Energy." Mariah's 1990s hit song "Fantasy," which featured the late Ol' Dirty Bastard, was sampled for this remix.
