Tensions between members of the Cyrus family have been rising after Noah felt disrespected by an interview Miley did with Joe Rogan.

During the former Disney star's appearance on his podcast, Miley honestly spoke about living with fame at a young age and how her family handles it - including seeing professionals for mental health needs.

Miley noted that not all of her family members are comfortable with the trappings of celebrity and highlighted Noah's passion for artistry and music as an example.

"You can take two paths when exposed to fame at a young age," she reflected.

Joe was keen to learn more about Noah's music when his friend began to describe it.

"She's got a record out that I love called The End of Everything," her sister explained, "and it's the most depressing EP you'll ever listen to."

At first, it appeared that Miley was praising Noah and her music. However, the situation quickly devolved into Miley labeling Noah a "20-year-old emo kid".

Joe and Miley then determined that this response was due to Noah being raised during "Hannah Montana's" success.

Joe and Miley also discussed how difficult life can be for the younger generation, particularly compared to others.

In Miley's words, Noah habitually contrasts herself with her big sister.

She stated: "She has this song where she talks about how 'My sister's like sunshine / It'll follow her wherever she goes / But I'm more like a rain cloud.'"

Miley added, "You know, it's like, she's got this idea of me."

Miley responded to Joe's suggestion for Noah to go to a doctor, saying, "We're all at [a] doctor a lot." She explained further, saying, "She's dealing with it, but she's only 20, so I worry about her."

The topic about growing up with a famous sister struck a chord as Miley expressed her worries for her 20-year-old sister.

But in response, Noah commented on a TikTok clip of their chat: "The disrespect in this video..."

Meanwhile, speculated that it was linked to the reported problems between Noah's parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus.

One person took to Twitter, noting, "She had three years to say something. She's only saying this 'cause the family is divided between her mom and her dad."

This comment implied that the podcast in question was not recent news.

In a puzzled state, one fan asked: "Was Joe being rude, was Miley being humorous but also standing up for herself, or perhaps both?" It left many wondering what exactly had transpired between the two sisters.
