The publication of Britney Spears' memoir has thrown Justin Timberlake's family into a state of "chaos" ahead of its release.

The book divulges that the "Toxic" hitmaker fell pregnant with her ex's child yet chose to terminate the pregnancy as the NSYNC star deemed them too young for parenthood.

The announcement of future Justin's comeback may have been ill-timed, yet he is determined to proceed with the venture.

Many have seen evidence of Justin's transformation over the past two decades; his personality, career goals, and lifestyle drastically differ from when he was associated with Britney.

As one source put it: "Justin owns who he was when he and Britney were together."

Justin had been ready to take a significant step forward with his career, but the arrival of Britney's bombshell book shattered his plans.

The timing was particularly cruel and threw the whole family into disarray.

According to an insider who spoke to The Sun, Justin's calendar was packed with new music releases, collaborations with old friends in NSYNC, plus another installment from the successful "Trolls" franchise - which has been making him a considerable amount of money over recent years.

It is unsure whether Justin shared with his wife, Jessica Biel, about his past abortion.

The anonymous source stated: "I do not know for certain whether Justin ever informed Jessica of his abortionsince he keeps conversations surrounding Britney private."

In her upcoming memoir, "The Woman in Me," Britney recalls a difficult period when she was pregnant with her then-boyfriend's child.

While the pop star isn't currently denying this part of her past, to Justin, it feels like a million years ago.

According to People Magazine's book review, Britney reflects that "[her then-boyfriend] wasn't happy" when she informed him of the news.

The shocking book illustrates the conversation that led to her ending a pregnancy with Justin.

Britney said Justin was not enthused about parenthood, telling her they were too young for such a significant responsibility. The couple had been together since 1999, when they first met at ages 17 and 18, respectively; however, their relationship ended in 2002.

She further wrote, "I'm sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don't know if that was the right decision. I never would have done it if it had been left up to me alone. And yet Justin was so sure he didn't want to be a father."
