"Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" was a gigantic success both domestically and internationally. It garnered critical acclaim because of its filmmaking and also on the way it was strategically distributed from different platforms.

Now, renowned filmmaker Christopher Nolan has joined many critics in praising Swift for her huge business move.

In a conversation at the City University of New York, award-winning director Christopher Nolan raved about Taylor Swift's recent move to release her record-breaking concert, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour." (via Vanity Fair)

"Taylor Swift is about to show the studios, because her concert film is not being distributed by the studios, it's being distributed by a theater owner, AMC, and it's going to make an enormous amount of money," Nolan told the audience.

Nolan's recent masterpiece, "Oppenheimer" was one of the biggest movies that came out this year, next to "Barbie," as it sparked a huge pop culture phenomenon that many dubbed to be the return of cinema.

"And this is the thing: This is a format, this is a way of seeing things and sharing stories, or sharing experiences, that's incredibly valuable. And if they don't want it, somebody else will. So that's just the truth of it," Nolan said of the film and its distribution process.

Guillermo del Toro Rave About Taylor Swift & Her Filmmaking Prowess

Academy Award winner Guillermo del Toro also joins the legion of artists and playwrights who were impressed by Taylor Swift's talent in directing.

Speaking to W Magazine, del Toro described the artist to be a "very accomplished director."

"She's incredibly articulate and deep about what she's trying to do-and what she will do," he raved. "I have the greatest admiration for her."

'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' Critical Acclaim

The concert film, specifically has been praised by critics since it was released.

"Deadpool 3" director Shawn Levy even compared Swift's filmmaking to the great Steven Spielberg.

"Taylor, the depth of her vision for how she wants a creative piece to be, whether it's a lyric, a melody, a bridge, a concert tour, a video-it's profound. It's profoundly vivid, and she has the strength of her convictions," the director told Entertainment Weekly.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 100% fresh score from 62 critics and a 99% audience score.
