Enrique Iglesias was accused of being a terrible singer when a video of him performing his hit song "I Like It" was uploaded on TikTok.
"[Point of view]: waited a lifetime to see Enrique Iglesias sing just to find out he sounds like Elmo and can't sing," read the caption in one of the videos uploaded on the platform.
"[Point of view]: someone forgot to turn on the autotune," another video read.
"Enrique Iglesias can't sing," a netizen wrote.
"I just can't believe it's real."
"He does sound like Elmo," another added, referring to the "Sesame Street" character.
"This is what it sounds like at my family karaoke nights."

Other videos on TikTok showed clips of the singer not even singing at all, but encouraging the fans to sing as he clapped and hyped the crowd up.
Despite a lot of fans' surprise to hear Iglesias's live singing voice, this is not the first time he was accused of being a bad singer.
Enrique Iglesias Can't Sing?
According to reports, back in 2000, the same issue arose when a video of him singing "Rhythm Divine" off-key circulated, which caused people to wonder if he was a "fraud" and whether he could keep his Grammy Award.
"If it's me, it's definitely me screwing around," he explained. "The music is so loud at those tapings, you can't even hear yourself."
He then reasoned that the performance was not performing at "one of [his] concerts."
Meanwhile, other Howard Stern discussed the lip-synching allegations during his show with Robin Quivers.
"Some dude sent me a tape. They're saying it's real but I'm not sure if I believe it," the talkshow host said. "This is Enrique Iglesias at his concert, an off-the-board feed."
"I heard about it. This is real. Apparently, he lip-syncs to a track," Quivers replied.

Enrique Iglesias Emarks on 'Trilogy' Tour
According to reports, Iglesias is on tour with Pitbull and Ricky Martin for the "Trilogy" tour.
The ticket price range starts from $80 to $210 without the fees, however, due to popular demand, ticket prices have gone up since the first pre-sale.
Shows in Los Angeles are priced at $138, while a show in Phoenix is priced at $91.
Aside from "I Like It," Iglesias also performed "Heartbeat," "Bailams," "Cuando me enamoro," "Escape," and more.
