Taylor Swift is rumored to be Elly Conway, the elusive and mysterious author of "Agrylle," the biggest spy novel in the market today, which will soon have a film starring Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Dua Lipa.

The fan theory has been circulating online on several social media platforms, namely TIkTok, Reddit, and X (formerly known as Twitter), and fans of both the "Anti-Hero" singer and "Agrylle" have come together with reasons for why they think Swift is Conway.

"Why is no one talking about the rumors of Elly Conway being Taylor Swift?? like could she really write four books and we'll get a movie based on one of them? argyle???? HELLO," a fan wrote.

"The 'Argylle' social media uses a lot of Taylor Swift references!"

"Me screaming the Taylor Swift Argylle theory at the top of my lungs bc even if it turns out to be wildly false I am so invested in the book/movie now."

Is Taylor Swift The Mysterious Author of 'Agrylle'?

Fans of both Swift and the book have come together to put several instances wherein they think are solid proof that the "Love Story" singer is the author.

"It's widely understood that Elly Conway is a pseudonym and she is a pseudonym for somebody well-known," a TikTok creator explained. "There is absolutely nothing about her on the Internet.

"She is anonymous, pretty much. There aren't any photos, social media presence is extremely limited."

The creator went on to explain that Conway has managed to snag a film deal, which will star some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

Other fans point out that Conway, who also doubles as a character in the film, has red hair-just like Swift's hair during her "All Too Well" short film.

Others even pointed out that Swift wore a sweatshirt that had the word "Conway" across the front in a picture she shared on Instagram.

Taylor Swift Helps Boost 'Agrylle' Film

"Agrylle" will be directed by Matthew Vaughn, the same director of the 'Kingsman" trilogy, "Kick-Ass," and "Layer Cake."

"I just couldn't stop laughing reading it because it had captured a side to me about those '80s movies," the director explained.

"The set pieces got bigger and bigger and bigger, and I had zero discipline trying to keep it small. So, it's now huge. It's now actually the most expensive movie I've made. It's more expensive than 'The Kingsman,' which is ridiculous."

With Swift's name being closely linked to the film, fans are already vowing to support "Agrylle."
