The Christmas spirit is indeed upon us as countless networks and production houses announce their holiday specials that will air in the next couple of months before the year ends.
More recently, the annual "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" just annouced its host and performer, Kelly Clarkson, who will deliver classic holiday jams for you and your family to enjoy; check out below where to watch it.
According to Billboard, the musician will have a really busy year until the end as she will be hosting and performing at the event one week after the return of the fifth season of "The Kelly Clarkson Show," which is now being filmed at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
This will not be the "American Idol" alum's first time performing on the program as she was able to grace the stage 20 years ago when she was still new in the music industry.
Kelly Clarkson Excited to Perform at the 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center'
During an episode of her famed talk show, Clarkson announced the big news, saying: "I had the opportunity to perform for my first time in NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center 20 years ago, and I am stoked to reveal that I'm getting the chance to do it again."
She added that she will do double duties as she's not just going to perform, but rather host the entire thing.
"I'm so excited to consider this city and Rockefeller Center my new home, and I can't imagine a better way to kick off Christmas this year than to be a part of this beautiful New York tradition with the lighting of the tree!" she added.

The executive vice president, live events and specials, NBCUniversal Media Group Jen Neal said in a statement that the lighting of the Christmas tree at the famed venue is one of the true joys of the holidays and it's a gift for Clarkson to perform and host the event.
Clarkson has yet to announce which songs she's going to perform, but she already have two Christmas albums under her belt: "Wrapped in Red" in 2013 and "When Christmas Comes Around..." in 2021.

For those who wanted to watch the show from the comfort of your own homes, the event will be broadcast live on November 29, 2023, at 8 p.m ET. (via NBC)
NBC will air the entire program, but it will also be available for streaming on Peacock.
