Adele was one of the individuals who was talking about Matthew Perry on Saturday, honoring the "Friends" star during her Vegas performance.

Chandler Bing, played by Perry, was dubbed "possibly the greatest comedic character of all time" by Adele. The report was broken by TMZ.

Perry was discovered dead on Saturday, possibly from drowning, in his jacuzzi. Adele continued,"It is always so shocking, especially someone that made you laugh and who brought so much joy to your life that you don't know. This is what I find so strange, I never met him in my life. There is something, you feel so sad about it especially because you don't necessarily know what was going on."

Dressed as Morticia Adams for Halloween, Adele dedicated "When We Were Young" to Perry. Adele said,

"He was so open with his struggles with addiction and sobriety, which I think is incredibly, incredibly brave," echoing the sentiments expressed by many since word of Perry's passing spread.

Perry was only 54, making this a really sad news.

It can be recalled that Adele recently revealed that, although she struggled with being "borderline alcoholic," she has now achieved sobriety in her 20s. "I gave up drinking a very long time ago.

She told her audience, "It feels like forever, maybe like three and a half months ago," expressing her longing for it but also admitting that there were risks involved.

She reportedly drank multiple bottles of wine before midday during the COVID-19 lockdown, a habit she acknowledged needed to stop in light of her divorce and the work she was doing on her album "30," as she revealed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Adele expressed her delight about their impending celebrations. Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki have an 11-year-old kid named Angelo. She contrasted her view of childhood with her son's sophisticated and perceptive character.

She also discussed the effects of her father's battle with alcoholism, which ultimately led to his death, in her emotional journey. Adele's commitment to wellness and self-improvement has been crucial; it has inspired her to prioritize her physical and mental well-being, which has resulted in a notable reduction in her body weight and improved emotional stability.

"It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone. I got quite addicted to it," she told British Vogue.
