It was a proud moment for Adele at her latest show when she announced that she had been sober for over three months, positively impacting her relationship with Rich Paul.

A source close to the couple told Star magazine, "There had been a lot of disagreements due to her drinking habits, and both Adele and Rich knew it was time for a change - not just for him but for herself too."

Having admitted to being a "borderline alcoholic" during her twenties, this mom-of-one revealed she had been drinking more during pandemic times.

That said, she confessed it's "boring" to abstain from alcohol and frankly expressed her envy of all those who are still able to enjoy a tipple.

Some sources speculate that the singer may have an additional motivation to stay away from alcohol: a desire to become pregnant. According to the insider, the "Rolling In The Deep" singer had been aiming for a pregnancy in the upcoming year.

At this point, neither Paul nor the singer have officially confirmed marriage but rumors are circulating regarding their relationship status.

Recently, speculation was ignited when Adele referred to the sports agent as her "husband," however, in a recent interview, he refused to elaborate on the matter.

"She's been great; I think she would agree that we helped each other," the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter said of her beau.

"I'm in a good space, and we're in a good space. Happy. She's superb. She's been great for me. We've been great for each other."

Upon meeting the British beauty, Gayle King asked permission to refer to her as "Mrs. Paul," she jokingly replied that she could say whatever she desired.

Furthermore, Adele has been flaunting a rather prominent diamond ring on her finger for over a year, prompting speculation among fans of the star-studded couple.

Since her split with Simon Konecki in 2019, finalized in 2021, this performer has entered a new romantic relationship.

She confided to British Vogue that things simply had not felt right anymore, and it was vital for her to put herself first. "Nothing bad happened or anything like that," she said.

Though there has been speculation that Adele cut out alcohol due to it being a source of tension in her relationship with Rich Paul; however, without any evidence to back it up, this should be taken as nothing more than conjecture.
