Cher and Alexander "AE" Edwards' split made their hearts grow fonder, and they are now closer than ever after their reconciliation.
The pair, who have a 40-year age gap, gave their romance a second chance amid the concerns surrounding them. They sparked reconciliation rumors four months after their split, with Page Six releasing the photos from their outing in Beverly Hills, Calif., alongside Tyga, Valentina Ferrer and J Balvin.
Cher and Alexander "AE" Edwards Are Closer Now
A source recently shared the status of the couple over a month after they began dating again.
"Cher and AE have been back together for a while now and they're closer than ever," the unnamed insider told Us Weekly. "All their friends think they are adorable together and they have amazing chemistry."
Cher and Edwards started dating after they were linked in November 2022 following their meeting at Paris Fashion Week.
After the confirmation, their relationship received mixed reactions due to their age gap - including the singer's son. Sources previously claimed that the "If I Could Turn Back Time" crooner's sons were removed from her will because of their disapproval.
"Cher is mad at them she's ready to cut them out of her life completely," an unnamed source added. "She's been hell-bent on marrying this guy and is speaking to her lawyers about adjusting her will to make A.E. her sole beneficiary."
Reports said Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman see Edwards as a gold-digger who only uses their mother for connection. They also reportedly fear that Cher would get hurt in the end.

Cher's Family Is Worried About Her
Aside from Cher's sons, her family members also expressed their concerns due to the reconciliation.
"She's been blowing up AE's phone begging for more time together, and he's agreed, but only on the condition they pace themselves this time around," one source told National Enquirer. "The guy knows exactly what he's doing, and his best friend Tyga's in on it too."
Another insider claimed that the 77-year-old would not be swayed by any comments and listen to anyone who comments on her love life.
She also openly spoke about their age and how it was not an issue for them. They also worked together on her Christmas album track "Drop Top Sleigh Ride," which made them closer.
