BTS member Jungkook's song "Seven" became the fastest song on Spotify to reach a billion streams, a record previously held by Miley Cyrus with "Flowers."

According to reports, the KPOP star's song reached the milestone 108 days after its release, as opposed to Cyrus' song which took 112 days.

"Yay, I was waiting," a fan wrote about the news, to which Spotify's official X (formerly known as Twitter) account replied, "The wait is over."

"Well. Good f**kin morning to me and everyone else who stans the golden maknae!"

"King Kook," another added.

"Nobody will ever forget the fact SEVEN has reached this huge mark in the same week Golden is released. An album that is about to come with a song that is collecting 1 billion streams records! SEVEN, you will always be a queen. More than deserved. [sic]"

While other fans commented congratulations and celebrated the achievement, several have already begun promoting the singer's upcoming album, "Golden."

Jungkook Talks 'Golden'

While Jungkook has not revealed much about his album, an upcoming episode of "Suchwita," a talk show hosted by fellow BTS member, Suga, reveals much more details.

"I have so much to show you. My first tattoo was of you guys (flexing the tattoo)," the KPOP idol said.

On several occasions, Jungkook has appeared on the talk show, where they candidly talk about the upcoming release, and what happened behind the scenes, leading up to the creation of the album.

"My solo album... My solo album is on its way," Jungkook said back in September.

"After the single, I have another single. And then I'll be releasing a small mini album by November."

Jungkook also shared his creative process, and how he chose the singles and songs off the album, noting that he was very picky and particular.

With the current numbers the KPOP star is bringing in with his first single, BTS fans are convinced that Jungkook will be able to replicate his success with his album.
