Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd might be in the middle of their divorce proceedings, but they will ensure that their number one priority is their son as they recently got together to celebrate Halloween with him.

According to Taste of Country, the musician couple, who are currently separated as Morris filed for divorce a few weeks ago, recently celebrated the spooky season with their 3-year-old son named Hayes.

As seen on a snap shared on the singer's official Instagram account on October 31, the pair accompanied their young son as he went house to house to ask for candies and goodies from other people within their neighborhood.

The couple did not wear any Halloween costumes, but it appeared that the young boy went as a dinosaur for this year's Halloween.

Just like any other photos from the past, Morris made sure to keep his son's identity as she covered his face in the snap before she publicly shared it with her followers.

Ryan Hurd Did Not Expect Maren Morris to File For Divorce

The recent family get together comes a few days after a source spoke with Us Weekly Magazine to reveal Ryan Hurd's true feeling about the divorce, saying he never expected it at all.

A source told the outlet that the separation "seems to have come out of the blue..." because "Ryan wasn't expecting it."

Amid Maren Morris' problems with the country music industry, she also faced another hurdle in her life as it was reported last month that she filed for divorce from her husband Ryan Hurd five years after they got married.

The divorce papers were filed in Tennessee in early October and it was stated in the legal documents that the reason why they got separated was because of "irreconcilable differences."

Following this, they were required to finish a parenting seminar as their separation involves a child. They have 60 days to finish the entire seminar.

Just weeks before the divorce, Ryan Hurd took to his official Instagram account to support his wife amid her decision to leave the country music industry.

"She deserves to be celebrated, not just tolerated. I love the response from people who don't just love these two songs, they needed them," he wrote.
