Wynonna Judd's fans had cause for concern when they saw her onstage at the CMA Awards 2023 in Nashville on Wednesday night.

The 59-year-old was performing a duet with Jelly Roll, and it appeared that something wasn't quite right.

Reports indicate that the songstress, who has suffered from vertigo in the past, seemed a bit unsteady during her "bizarre" performance.

Throughout the song, Wynonna Judd kept a tight grip on Jelly Roll's arm, sparking an immediate reaction from viewers on social media.

One X, formerly Twitter, user noted this with the tweet: "Not sure what is going on, but Wynonna Judd seems to be clinging to Jelly Roll at the #CMAawards."

Expressions of concern flooded the room after Wynonna's performance, with one observer exclaiming: "Something is wrong with her. Hope she is ok!!"

Observers of the star's performance were concerned as she sang, as her gait seemed a little unbalanced, and her energy seemed to be sapped.

Nevertheless, people took to social media to commend Wynonna for overcoming vertigo and delivering an incredible show.

One post on X stated that despite her dizziness, she had performed admirably: "She did well considering Vertigo - it's like being on a merry-go-round from simply turning your head."

This wasn't the first time it happened.

Just one month ago, Wynonna Judd graced the stage in Nashville as part of a charity event to support mental health within the music industry.

Her appearance was incredibly touching, considering Wynonna's mother, Naomi Judd, had tragically taken her own life only a year prior at the age of 76. Naomi had battled with numerous mental health problems throughout her lifetime.

In contrast, during a concert back in February, Wynonna experienced a feeling of dizziness while performing and had to take a pause. "Hang on a second," she requested during her TikTok video. "I am dizzy. Can someone come up here, please?" The gig happened to be taking place in Dayton, Ohio.

She said, "I'm dehydrated and having a hard time, so hang on a second."

At first, Wynonna ignored her dizziness and jokingly advised the audience to document it in photographs should she faint during the performance. However, eventually, she had no choice but to sit.

Another incident was when hours before her 2023 New Year's Eve performance, Wynonna was forced to cancel due to an intense about of vertigo.

After the disappointment had passed, she addressed the cancellation and expressed her dedication to improving her overall health.
