It's almost Christmas Time and that means only one thing - the unofficial Queen of Christmas - Mariah Carey is ready to dominate radio, streaming, downloads, and charts.

And what better way to kick things off than by performing the perennial hit on the 2023 Billboard Music Awards?

Mariah Carey on the 2023 Billboard Music Awards

According to Billboard, Mariah Carey will bless everyone with a lavish, festive, and Aspen-inspired holiday performance of the seasonal track.

Notably, this would be the first time the song will be performed at an Awards show ever.

Legendary choreographer Debbie Allen will be overseeing the creative direction of the sequence.

The Grammy-winning singer will not only perform at the show, but she will also receive the Billboard Chart Achievement Award for her seasonal classic, which has peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts every year since 2019.

It has since spent 12 nonconsecutive weeks on the chart, joining Carey's other hits like "One Sweet Dat" and "We Belong Together" which have since spent 16 and 14 weeks at the top, respectively.

Carey's highly-awaited performance will be the cherry on top of a rather stacked lineup of performers for the 2023 Billboard Music Awards. The lineup already includes Morgan Wallen, Stray Kids, New Jeans, Peso Pluma, Karol G, Bebe Rexha, and David Guetta.
