P!nk and Dallas Green of City and Colour have a "new baby" together... the pop star and folk artist have collaborated to form a new duo You+Me. Today (Sept. 8), the duo released their debut single together "You and Me" and announced a new album for this fall.

According to a new website linked by P!nk on Twitter, youplusmeofficial.com, the "Just Give Me A Reason" singer has teamed up with singer-songwriter Green to form You+Me. Together, they will release a new album rose ave. due out on Oct. 14.

To lead off rose ave., You+Me (pronounced "you plus me") released its lead single "You and Me," a truly beautiful acoustic love song led by Green's plucked folk guitar skills and P!nk's smoky signature vocals.

"They say everything, it happens for a reason / You can be flawed enough but perfect for a person / Someone who will be there for you when you fall apart / Guiding your direction when you're falling through the dark / Oh, that's you and me," P!nk and Green sing in the chorus, with perfect harmonies to accompany the small, quiet moments of the guitar melody.

It's a spectacular debut single and a wonder why it's taken so long for P!nk to run out to a field and make a folk record.

Rose ave. will be released Oct. 14 via RCA Records. More information regarding the album is forthcoming. Currently, details are scarce.
