Noah Kahan Recalls Wanting To Be In ‘Saturday Night Live’ Since 2021 In Resurfaced Tweet

Noah Kahan will be performing at "Saturday Night Live" along with Emma Stone who will be hosting the show.

Kahan has previously tweeted about wanting to be on the comedy sketch show since 2021 - making it a full circle moment for him.

After Jason Momoa and Tate McRae's "Saturday Night Live" performance last weekend, it was announced that Noah Kahan and Emma Stone will be taking over the show on the first weekend of December 2023.

Kahan, who recently gained a significant following and mainstream activity, has been tapped to perform as a musical guest.

In a post sharing the announcement, Kahan asked people to "rub your eyes" as he posted the iconic sticky note announcement along with a tweet from him in 2021.

"I wanna perform on SNL. I don't even care if it's an off-brand version called Sunday Night Live just get me on the show I'll do anything," the singer wrote in 2021 on Twitter.

Over on Twitter/X, Kahan also reflected on finally being able to be on the show, a stint he seemed to have long dreamt of.

"I'll never forget taking a pi** next to the man who was hosting the open mic that I'd just played. He said "it's a real tough business and I've seen lots of talented people not make it" I'd never felt so hopeless about my career. I wonder who I'll pi** next to at SNL??" he reflected.

Still in disbelief, Kahan also shared a throwback photo of a younger version of him playing with dinosaur toys.

Over on Twitter/X, fans are celebrating Noah Kahan's upcoming performance on the Emmy-winning show.

"This is amazeballs. So happy for you! And I mean I already know the music performance is going to be the best ever but please be in at least one skit too!" someone asked.

"I dont know you, but I love this for you. Im gonna check out what you do, man. As folks in my neck of the woods say: irregardless! Have a great show!" another shared.

"I'm literally screaming omgg! Soo excited for this my favourite actress and my favourite singer ahhhh" a fan voiced out.

Very recently, Noah Kahan has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. He is going against Gracie Abrams, Fred again.., Ice Spice, Jelly Roll. Coco Jones, Victoria Monét, and The War And Treaty.
