It has been a hot minute since Ariana Grande released any new music, and fans are starting to think she traded her illustrious music career for R.E.M. Beauty, her makeup brand.

Although it seems like the "Thank U Next" singer is gearing up for a comeback and she hinted at it through a new makeup routine.

"My makeup look has changed with me over the course of my life," Grande said in a recent interview with Bustle. "But I feel like we are supposed to grow and try new things as we evolve. Sometimes I look back and I really can't believe the beauty trends I used to enjoy."

Since releasing her sixth studio album, "Positions," last October 2020, the singer has focused mainly on her beauty brand as well as reviving her acting career.

"We are all constantly learning and growing, so I know I'm not alone. To me, beauty should be about whatever feels most authentic and beautiful to you."

Ariana Grande Working on New Music

After the filming of "Wicked" wrapped up, fans have been hoping that the "7 Rings" singer return to the music studio and release music again, however, she made it known to her fans that she had heard their cries.

"Her priority has been Glinda for the past two years, and still is, as they haven't finished the film," a source said a month ago.

"She doesn't know when she'll want to release as she wants to be respectful of the timeline for 'Wicked,' and originally didn't want to do any music at all until after the films were released."

However, it seems like Grande has gone back on her word because she was spotted several times going into a recording studio by the paparazzi and fans.

Ariana Grande Unites with Max Martin

According to reports, while the entire film industry was at a standstill due to the strike, Grande reunited with Swedish producer, Max Martin.

The pair have released several chart-topping hits like "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored," "God is a Woman," "No Tears Left to Cry," and more.

Since 2020 until now, though, several unreleased songs of the singer have been leaked online, like the popular "Fantasize."

Grande expressed his dismay and annoyance towards the leaks, and asked the leaker to stop doing so, since she did not release the songs because they were either unfinished or "not good enough."
