For her 31st birthday, Miley Cyrus shared an intimate performance during her birthday dinner with family and friends at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
According to reports, instead of receiving gifts, the "Wrecking Ball" singer gifted the party with a live performance of her chart-topping hit song, "Flowers" for the first time as well as other of her songs.
On top of that, she surprised everyone by debuting a brand new song that is yet to be released; as of this writing, the song's title and release date are yet to be revealed. The new song is a ballad that shows off Cyrus' vocal range.

The new song was met with enthusiasm and excitement from fans, who have been begging to hear more new music from the "Hannah Montana" star since the release of her highly successful "Endless Summer Vacation" album.
Miley Cyrus Celebrates Birthday
Cyrus took to social media to share the special celebration on Instagram: "My birthday gift to MYSELF this year was VERY on brand. I performed for MYSELF and sang my favorite songs including my own."
The singer was seen wearing a little black dress with a cropped tuxedo blazer and a leopard purse as well as Versace sunglasses, Page Six noted its report.
"First 'live' performance of 'Flowers' was to an audience full of my friends and family. Taking this song back to the seed... she sprouted sensationally. Grateful for the growth in us both," her caption continued.
The videos were met with positive feedback from fans, who cannot help but gush about Cyrus' voice and her new look.

Miley Cyrus' New Music, Tour
According to reports, Cyrus' new song included the following lyrics" "Don't know if it's ever gonna stop/ I wouldn't mind if it don't/ Don't leave me high/ Don't let me down/ 'Cause I want you more."
Fans are hopeful that they might hear more from where that came from, and maybe even a tour for her recent album drop.
However, earlier this year, the singer announced that she would be taking some time off from touring.
"If you're performing at a certain level of intensity and excellence, there should be an equal amount of recovery and rest.
"There's a level of ego that has to play a part that I feel gets overused when I'm on tour. And once that switches on it's hard to turn it off. And I think when you're training your ego every single night to be active, that's the hardest switch for me to turn off."
