Rumors and reports that Cardi B and Offset have separated had social media buzzing in the past few days. The whispers came on the heels of Cardi B's very telling Instagram livestream.
Apparently, she is excited to face the New Year as a "single" mom, fueling long speculation from fans that she is having marital problems.
Meanwhile, a source suggests that this marital fight seemed to only be a rough patch that the rap power couple could likely overcome.
Cardi B, Offset Marriage Can Be Fixed?
According to a People Magazine source, Cardi B and Offset's relationship has always been "tumultuous."
Apparently, the couple had "broken up and gotten back together and broken up again way more than the public has seen," with the insider insisting that "They've had really good times together."
Cardi B confirmed longstanding rumors from fans that she and Offset are facing a rocky patch in their marriage after her more obvious statements on her Instagram Live.
"The last time I got on Live I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn't know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now. I just took it as a sign. I've been single for a minute now," she confirmed at the time. "I'm curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah... I'm excited."
However, as of this writing, neither Offset nor Cardi B's camp has spoken yet on the issue.

Offset Cheated On Cardi B With Chrisean Rock?
Days before Cardi B went on Instagram Live, Offset was accused by Blueface of cheating on the "WAP" rapper with his ex-girlfriend, Chrisean Rock.
"Being tatted on a h*e is not a flex you literally f**king Cardi B husband [sic] couple weeks ago I'm tired of n***** looking at me while they f**king you get the rest of em gone asap please," he said on Twitter. Offset replied and denied the allegations.
However, it's public knowledge that Cardi B and Offset had experienced marital problems in the past. Speaking to E! News in 2021, Cardi had this to say:
"Of course we went through some challenges. We had to get to know each other better. But I feel like I've never been happier. I really feel like [it's] not even just like marriage, it's the family, the unity, the friendship that we have, the 'I have your back, you have my back.'"
