Chris Poland recently shared the reason why he got fired from the famed band Megadeth and it appears that it was truly his fault as he was the one who dared member Dave Mustaine; what happened?

According to Guitar.com, the musician recently appeared in an interview with "Disturbing the Priest" where he opened up about his firing from the iconic band shortly after they wrapped up their tour called "Peace Sells" in 1987.

He recalled that back when he was still a member, he was late for a meeting with his bandmates where Msutaine was "giving everybody their $200 weekly salary." Unfortunately, he couldn't be there at the time.

One of the reasons why he was late was because he didn't have a car so when he got to the location, everybody was gone.

He immediately contacted Mustaine and told him that he needed the money, but the musician replied: " 'Well, you should have been there.'"

Poland explained his problems with transportation, but the musician didn't listen to him.

Would Chris Poland Join Megadeth Again?

Poland revealed in the conversation that he never thought Megadeth would be so big in the music industry, he also didn't think that they would have "this kind of longevity."

In terms of reuniting with his former bandmates to join them again, Poland said he wanted to do it as he doesn't hold grudges against them.

"I don't have time for grudges or s*** like that, man. And that's something that Nick Menza [former Megadeth drummer] really like... he kind of told me, 'You can't drag that s*** around with you, man. It weighs you down,'" he noted.
