Guns N Roses have been an iconic rock band not only in America but also around the world thanks to their beloved tracks that the public continues to listen to up to this very day. Many people who attend their shows noticed how long the group's concerts are and Duff McKagan recently offered an answer about this matter.

According to setlist.fm, the legendary band's recent shows spans over 180 minutes every single night containing some of their hit tracks over the decades.

More recently, McKagan spoke with Heavy Music to explain his side, saying it would be better if the band only performs for two hours like most bands.

"I'd love to play shorter because, just, I'd be in less pain the next day," he said in the interview.

Why Guns N' Roses Plays 3-Hour Sets

He further noted that the reason why the band performs for over three and a half hours every night is because "there's just too many songs" and most fans don't leave the venue unless the show is over.

Nobody leaves, so it's, like, 'Okay, they must be enjoying this.' We'll whip out 'Coma' or 'Locomotive,'" he added, referring to two of their most-requested tracks.

The musician further noted that other songs that fans love vibing to aside from their classic hits are "Bad Obsession," "Pretty Tied Up," "Reckless Life," and "Shadow of Your Love."

Later in the interview, he credited his bandmate and Guns N Roses frontman Axl Rose for being a "monster."

McKagan explained that the band only had to cancel one show because of his vocals because of Rose's swelling, but regardless of what he felt, the singer still wanted to play the show despite doctors telling him his voice could potentially be damaged forever.

Guns N Roses Show Postponed

Back in September, the band had to cancel their concert in St. Louis due to "illness."

Although it wasn't explicitly noted at the time the nature of which band member struggled with a health condition, Rolling Stone reported that Axl Rose has had problems with his vocals days prior to the cancellation.

Rose acknowledged his vocals in a social media post as he wrote, "My apologies I was a little horse .. Fun night, Great Crowd!!"
