Metal music might not be as popular as other genres that have been constantly charting over the past few weeks, but it sure is worth celebrating. Thanks to the annual Metal Hall of Fame, some of the biggest artists under this category are being awarded for their dedication and contribution.

According to Metal Planet Music, the 7th Metal Hall of Fame Gala, which is considered to be the "most important night in Hard Rock and Heavy Metal," will be inducting some legendary artists under the said genre.

The event will take place at the Marriott Delta Garden Grove in Anaheim, California, on January 24, 2024.

Aside from awarding some iconic musicians, there will also be musical performances, surprise guests, and many more.

Metal Hall of Fame Inductees 2024

The inductees include Eddie Trunk, who is under the special 40th anniversary induction, and Mick Mars, under the Special video induction.

Other people who will be awarded throughout the night will be Sebastian Bach, inducted by Wendy Dio, Tim "Ripper" Owens, popularly known for playing with Iced Earth, KK's Priest, and Judas Priest, Carlos Cavazo of Quiet Riot, and more.

Penelope Spheeris, a producer and director of "Decline of Western Civilization" and "Wayne's World" is also included, as well as Mikeal Maglieri of Whisky a Go Go, Ranbow Bar & Grill.

Lastly, Cleopatra Records and Biohazard will also be inducted to seal in their legendary status.

Fans should look forward to watching the event as Metal Hall of Fame President Pat Gesualdo said in a statement: "The 2024 Annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala is going to be another exciting night, with some legendary artists performing and sharing some great stories."

Per the outlet, the annual event is a non profit, volunteer organization, that aims to dedicate to preserve some of the best artists under the genre of hard rock and heavy metal music.

100% of the proceeds will go directly to preserving the genre and bring free music programs for children with special needs as well as wounded veterans in community centers and health facilities.
