Over the past week, Taylor Swift was entangled in a rumor surrounding her relationship status with Travis Kelce as fans noticed a ring on her finger which they believe could be a sign of engagement. More recently, the truth behind her sparkling accessory has been revealed; who gave it to the pop star?
According to Billboard, the musician sported the ring and showed it off to her friends, Keleigh Sperry and Miles Teller. Following this, rumors circulated online that she could potentially be engaged to the NFL star.
However, the truth was revealed and it turns out it was from Sperry herself.

Taking to her official Instagram stories, the actress shared a photo of the ring inside the red box. The accessory featured a teardrop-shaped blue gem.
In the caption, she wrote, "Love this ring I had made for my friend, she's bejeweled," referencing one of the pop star's songs from her 2022 album, "Midnights."
Taylor Swift Celebrates Her Birthday
The recent news comes a week after Taylor Swift celebrated her 34th birthday at Outer Heaven in New York City. She and her friends later had an afterparty at The Box nightclub.
Some of her star-studded friends who were present at the special occasion were Keleigh Sperry, Zoë Kravitz, Jack Antonoff, HAIM, Gigi Hadid, Sabrina Carpenter, Miles Teller, Antoni Porowski, Blake Lively and Gracie Abrams.
Swift sported an all-black outfit with white gem details.

Unfortunately, her lover, Travis Kelce, wasn't able to attend the celebration as a source explained to People Magazine that the NFL star was ordered to attend a "mandatory" practice in his hometown of Kansas City.
Regardless, they celebrated a Christmas party days prior to her birthday as they were seen in Kansas City.
Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Getting Engaged Soon?
Hanna Ann Sluss, the fiancé of Baltimore Ravens' football player Jake Funk, predicted that Travis Kelce might pop the big question to the singer this 2024.
Speaking with Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, she predicted that the engagement might happen at the beginning of the new year.
"Well, usually, engagements, from what Jake's told me, happen in the offseason... Because last season I was like, 'I want to get engaged.' He was like, 'Well, typically guys get engaged in the offseason,'" she revealed.
As of this writing, Kelce has yet to reveal whether he'll propose to Swift or not.
